Founder & Producer
Natalie Marciano is a seasoned producer and content strategist with extensive experience across development, financing, production, and global film/television operations. She is the Owner of Poster Child Pictures and serves as Head of Film & Television for Truth Lens Media, where she manages a diversified slate of more than 50 projects across multiple budget tiers and international markets. Marciano specializes in packaging elevated, commercially driven content and aligning creative vision with financial strategy to maximize investor value.

Her recent producing portfolio includes the critically acclaimed Freud’s Last Session (2023) starring Anthony Hopkins and Matthew Goode; The Clean Up Crew with Antonio Banderas; and the upcoming ensemble comedy Fuck Valentine’s Day starring Marisa Tomei. She is currently in post-production on both Reign Rain with Paul Rudd and Catherine Hardwicke’s Street Smart, while also overseeing How to Build a Truth Engine with George Clooney.

Marciano began her career at CAA, Nickelodeon, and Relativity Media, gaining foundational experience in packaging, development, production, and studio operations. She then expanded her expertise across a slate of acclaimed, award-winning television series, including Dexter, Californication, The L Word, The Tudors, Nurse Jackie, and Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Notably, she worked on Steven Spielberg’s United States of Tara, giving her direct experience working on a series produced by one of the most influential filmmakers in modern entertainment. Throughout these roles, she collaborated with high-profile talent such as Michael C. Hall, David Duchovny, Jennifer Beals, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Henry Cavill, Edie Falco, Billie Piper, Toni Collette, and Brie Larson, sharpening her ability to identify and support globally marketable, talent-driven storytelling.
In her leadership positions, Marciano oversees financing structures, talent partnerships, international co-productions, and distribution strategies, leveraging her strong relationships with financiers, sales agents, studios, and global buyers. Her focus is on scalable content with clear commercial upside and multi-market longevity.

Batia Parnass
Vice President/ Producer
Batia Parnass is a film executive with strong experience in financing, packaging, and sales strategy across independently produced film and television. After starting her career in comedy content creation, she shifted into the business side of entertainment when Natalie Marciano brought her into Rebel Entertainment to support development and financing operations. Recognizing her talent and reliability, Marciano later brought her into Poster Child Pictures, where Parnass now serves as a key executive helping drive the company’s expanding slate and financing initiatives.

At Poster Child Pictures, Parnass focuses on financing workflows, investor coordination, talent attachments, and international sales strategy. She recently served as an Executive Producer on Catherine Hardwicke’s upcoming feature Street Smart, as well as the ensemble romantic comedy Fuck Valentine’s Day starring Marisa Tomei. Her slate continues with Rain Reign starring Paul Rudd and the holiday comedy Santa is Coming with Adam Devine and Matt Rife.

Parnass also executive produced the feature documentary How to Build a Truth Engine, created alongside George Clooney, Smokehouse Pictures, as well as the elevated horror film The Cure. Her work centers on structuring multi-party financing deals, managing key partner relationships, and positioning projects for strong performance in domestic and international markets.
Known for her steady execution, financial discipline, and ability to navigate complex workflows, Parnass plays a pivotal role in supporting Poster Child Pictures’ commercial strategy and its development of globally competitive, investor-minded content.

Amy Shmidt
Development Executive
Amy Schmidt has been working in literary management, media and PR since getting her degree from USC’s college of Letters, Arts and Sciences in 2015. Her CV includes working with Seth Jacobson of JCI Worldwide and creating films for Energy Upgrade California’s Time of Use campaign and LAUSD’s project based learning program.
On the development side, Amy has had internships and jobs with Agency for the Performing Arts, Steve Carrell and Akiva Goldsman before landing as a ghostwriter and a screenwriter. Now, she is thrilled to partner with Poster Child as their Development Executive.

Jazz Hill
Assistant Creative
Jazz Hill is a passionate storyteller and media creative with a strong background in communications, public affairs, journalism, and media production. She earned her undergraduate degree in Communications with a focus on Public Affairs from California State University, Long Beach, where she developed a deep appreciation for media's power to shape narratives and influence communities.
She continued her education at New York University, earning a master’s degree in Journalism and Media Production, which sharpened her storytelling skills and commitment to creating visually compelling and socially impactful content. With experience in PR and marketing, as well as hands-on work as a production assistant, Jazz has gained a comprehensive understanding of the film and television industry. By blending strategic communication expertise with creative media production, she brings a unique perspective to each project, effectively connecting message and medium, story and audience.
